After driving 2 years for U-2 owner Jim Harvey Motorsport's, J. Michael moved to the U-13 Spirit of Detroit to Assume the drivers seat in 2006, formerly occupied by veteran Terry Troxell. J. Michael is one of the young guns currently replacing many long –time veteran drivers who are stepping aside as the sport undergoes radical changes and adapts to new directions in marketing to a larger mass audience. Made all Final heats last year with the U13. He finished 5th in Evansville, 3rd in Madison, 3rd in Detroit, 4th in Tri Cities, 3rd in Seattle and 5th In San Diego.
