Kent Dunlop "VDO" a mere second before running over the turn buoy

"VDO" drives over the top of the Buoy you can see some debris flying off

The Buoy was damaged and you can see a large section of the Left Sponson in the water

Kent drives a very damaged boat straight back to the Slipway

Team members from all teams help to support the boat while the Crane slowly lifts the boat

Sadly the Buoy ropes got tangled in the Prop and with a very bent blade this prop is stuffed

The New Zealand Grand Prix Hydroplane Drivers Club had a Display in the Hamilton City Centre on The Friday at Lunch Time

"Sierra" in a Practice run on Saturday Morning

"Instigator" and "Holiday Outboards" had a real dice in an F3 race on Saturday

Then in the Turn "Holiday Outboards" has a Spin

"Holiday Outboards" Spins

Although "Holiday Outboards" gets under way it has suffered damage while "Instigator" powers away

"Holiday Outboards" Raises the Paddle to indicate trouble and rescue craft assists

"Holiday Outboards" is Sinking and Diver Dan assists balance on the boat as its towed to shore. The Boat was repaired overnight and returned to racing the next day

"Southern Lights" makes its way to Shore after a race

"Susie IV" made the F3 Racing for the first time this year

"Susie IV" made the F3 Racing for the first time this year

"Outboard Marine" formerly known as "Hellfire"

"Holiday Outboards" takes the fight to "Howzat"

Scott Coker also runs in the GNH Boat "Fair Warning"

"Lethal Weapon" one of 3 Jet Boats that ran on the weekend

"TMR" another of the Jet Boats that showed up and was very competitive

"Cobra" took on "Lethal Weapon"

"Innocent Victim" and "TMR" had a great Battle

"TMR", "Cobra" and "Innocent Victim" provided some good racing

Thunder Cats were out in force for Racing

Malcolm Wotton had "Renegade" firing along very well

Warwick Lupton and "Annihilator" gave the birds a scare

Warwick and Ken Lupton had some close Racing

David Alexander in "Annihilator 2" during a practice run and before his boat was later destroyed in a crash

Darryl Friend came up from the South Island in "Terminator"

Darryl had an unfortunate accident while working on his boat in the pits on Saturday when he slipped off and had to be taken to Hospital for a checkup. Sadly his shoulder was damaged and he was unable to race on Sunday.
